Large HADRON rap, and the evasive power of flies

Still home sick today, which meant that I got to listen to Science Friday with Bill when I finally woke up. Some of the highlights were the very excited guy from the Fermi labs talking about the imminent turning on of the HADRON particle accelerator, and another fellow talking about the research he's doing about the way that flies evade being swatted. I was also pretty interested in the bit about vaccines, and the continuing debate about whether they are a contributing factor to autism. The guy from Fermi highly suggested giving this a look-see, and it's pretty funny. Geek Rap.
