Actually, I did. I ended up missing the train for complicated reasons I'll post later, and Fjorlief an I spent a lovely afternoon at Powell's, then we went to Rimsky Korsakoffeehouse for yummy deserts, then back to Fjorleif's place to feed the starving dog. (You were gone so long! It's so late! I'm so hungry!)
This morning the dog crawled into the futon bed with me on the floor because the thunder was scaring her. I was able to sleep through the thunder, but the giant dog coming to sleep with me was a little harder to ignore.
